Things to note when receiving a Treatment

Please no exercise or shower after facial, t0 achieve the full benefits of your treatment. plan to workout or shower * before* your treatment, and arrive to treatment showered. We want all the beautiful ingredients fully sinking into your skin for 4-8 hours.

it is possible to peel a few days after your Treatment, especially if you have never had one, or you had resurfacing or your ph is low.
Gently, while face is damp use your finger tips to slough off shedding skin , then apply your favorite toner, then water base moisturizer, balm, oil or SPF..
fresh new skin is remarkable!

What is a regenerative, longevity Facialist?
Khasy is a holistic regenerative facialist, which mean she takes a whole body approach to skin health and the longevity + preservation of your largest organ. Khasy utilizes the latest technologies, ethically sourced, result driven products and empiricism to create superficial micro injuries to the skin for the regeneration of senescent cells and long term resilience. Aiming to harnessing our natural collagen + elastin before it really begins to drop in menopause. khasy takes a multi angle approach, utilizing different modalities and treatments depending on each individuals skin needs and where they are in life.

do you perform extractions with each facial?
YES. Khasy performs extractions, if needed, with each individual facial. If a client needs extra extractions, or wants to focus more on extractions, it is recommended to "add On" an extra 15-30 minutes of extractions to your treatment.

Can i put make-up on or workout after a facial?
you can, but it's best not too.
to really receive all the benefits of a facial, its best to let the active, healing ingredients sink deeply into your skin without disruption for 6-8 hours.

am I going to be red, blotchy or flaky after my facial?
Most likely not. As with most of khasy's facials, she is targeting change + a positive reaction in your skin for regeneration. That can sometimes involve redness, light flaking , swelling a few days after your treatment. It may also involve healing of acne. All of this is positive and beneficial for optimal health and preservation of the skin. If you have an event or just want a glow- please let khasy know and she'll give you a red carpet facial.

If I get a peel, How long will I peel for?
It depends on the degree of peel, along with the outcome you are wantng to achieve.
Khasy uses varying STRENGTHS depending on clients skin goals. Most of khasy's facials include RESURFACING- where usually, you won't peel, but the top dead layer of skin will be removed, giving a smoother, brighter appearance.
If you are wanting hyper-pigmentation, acne scars, age spots, or melasma to fade, a deeper peel -in a series - is recommended. in which you may have shedding + Peeling of the skin for about 3-5 days.
the perfect derma peel will see deep peeling 2 days after application, and can peel from 3-5 days. It will take 10 days for your skin to regain its full balanced ph, so hydration + spf is a must during this period of regeneration.

What does micro-needling feel like?
Micro- needling is the same sensation as getting a tattoo. Can be a little tender, but tolerable- and well worth it!
If you are sensitive, it is recommended to get a prescription numbing cream called BLT or EMLA from your doctor.
It can be applied 15-20 minutes prior to treatment and sealed with saran wrap- to keep air tight. Khasy will remove the wrap when she is ready to treat you.
OR Khasy is happy to apply it for you when you arrive.

Can I go out and put make-up on after I micro-needle?
You can definitely go out after micro-needling.
You will most likely still be red- or look + feel like you got a good sunburn for 24 to 48 hours after treatment.
It is not recommended to apply make- up for 6-8 hours after treatment. As you want to keep the area very clean + Hydrated while healing.

what is the down time with micro-needling?
Depending on the depth + desired goal - light peeling, swelling, redness + red patches called petechiae can occur during the first 3-5 days of healing. As your skin is turning over, regenerating + building new collagen. Its important to continue to hydrate your skin with water base moisturizers and wear mineral spf everyday. If you have severe petechiae ( red patches of broken capilaries) you can bump up on your iron intake.
By having microneedling, you are resuming all responsiblity in your healing and understand the healing process may be unsightly for 3-10 days. But after that, oh the glow!

Upon request, we will provide a courtesy invoice for potential reimbursement.
All questions regarding your insurance coverage + reimbursement should be directed to your insurance company or
benefits manager. We do not provide superbills.
